The spirit of brotherhood and friendly rivalry was on full display as the Tshwane Aviary (Pretoria, South Africa) a proud chapter of the Aviary Club of Nigeria, in the Southern Africa Province, successfully hosted its Current Dispensation Anniversary celebration on Saturday, November 29th, 2025.

The highly anticipated match came to life at the revered Cougar Park Stadium, proudly nestled in the Van Der Hoff precinct of Pretoria West, and home to the esteemed Cheeky Boys Football Club. The air was alive with excitement as the officiating officials gave the nod, and the match officially kicked off at the scheduled time of 11:00 a.m., setting the stage for a thrilling encounter.

The highlight of the landmark event was the much-anticipated concluding leg of the two-part soccer challenge against their powerful counterparts, the Madiba Aviary (Johannesburg, South Africa).

The rivalry stretching across Gauteng and the surrounding regions has provided immense excitement for Avians. The first leg, played in April when Madiba Aviary hosted Tshwane Aviary, saw the visitors from Pretoria dominate with a decisive Tshwane 5, Madiba 2 victory.

However, the return leg on November 29th proved to be a spectacular reversal of fortunes. In a keenly contested match filled with skill and passion, the Madiba Chapter edged out the host team with a final score of Tshwane 1, Madiba 2.

This victory secured the overall trophy for the Madiba Aviary, who celebrated deservedly after a hard-fought championship series. While the scoreline provided intense competition, the overall atmosphere was one of profound camaraderie and brotherhood. Avians across both Chapters were seen "jollyficating" together, celebrating in oneness, proving once again that the true winner is the spirit of the club and its values. It was truly an epic moment and a deeply memorable day for the entire Southern Africa Province.
