Today we honor a hero, not only for the silk robe you wore, but for the courage, humility, and strength you carried every single day while you were with us. It is discipline when no one is watching. It is sacrifice made quietly, without expectation of praise.
And that was the heart of the person we remember today. Late Elder Ayo Fasanya.
You stood for duty, for loyalty, and for love of The Aviary Club of Nigeria even more than that, you stood for honor and a very rare grace all with smiles at any point to his fellow Elders' Council, his family, us- Avians , and his community.
Your bravery was not loud or boastful but was steady and dependable. The values learned, integrity, perseverance, selflessness, continue to shape the way an Elder lives and loves. Those values defined your life.
In every relationship, you offered loyalty and heart and your legacy is not only written in the Aviary Club of Nigeria history, but in the lives you touched.
Though we miss your fatherly role but today, being your birthday, we give thanks and celebrate a life lived with purpose.
We remember a veteran who answered the call, who stood firm in the face of uncertainty, and who leaves behind a legacy of honor that time cannot erase.
May we as Avians strive to live with even a fraction of his bravery and grace.
