A PAINFUL FAREWELL TO AVIAN KAYODE OWOSHO: A BROTHER GONE TOO SOON

There are moments when words fail, when the heart struggles to accept a reality too painful to comprehend, and when the silence left behind by the departure of a loved one speaks louder than a thousand words.

Today, the Aviary Club of Nigeria, Capitol Chapter, is confronted with one of such heartbreaking moment as we announce, with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the passing of our beloved brother, Avian Kayode Owosho.

His departure is a painful reminder of the fragility of life and the irreplaceable value of the bonds we share as brothers.

It is difficult to find the right words to describe the emptiness his passing has created, particularly among those who knew him, worked alongside him, shared moments of brotherhood with him, and witnessed his dedication to the ideals of the Aviary Club of Nigeria.

Until his untimely demise, Avian Kayode Owosho served as the Chief Entertainment Officer of Capitol Aviary, a responsibility he carried with commitment, dedication, and a genuine sense of belonging.

He was more than a titleholder, he was a brother whose presence contributed to the life and spirit of his chapter. His commitment to the club and his willingness to serve remain part of the memories we will forever cherish.

Today, we mourn not merely the loss of an officer, but the departure of a brother whose place in our fraternity cannot easily be filled.

The chair he once occupied may be taken by another, and the responsibilities he carried may eventually be transferred, but the memories of his presence and the personal connections he built will remain beyond the reach of time.

Beyond the fraternity, Avian Kayode Owosho was an astute entrepreneur and the Chief Executive Officer of Ferran & Tommy Ventures, an enterprise based in Ikeja, Lagos, specialising in the sales of laptops, computer hardware, and other telecommunications gadgets.

Through his entrepreneurial pursuits, he demonstrated the drive to build, the courage to pursue opportunities, and the determination to make his contribution to society.

He was a man with interests and ambitions beyond the walls of the club, a brother whose life extended into business, personal relationships, and the everyday pursuits that give human existence its meaning.

He was also an ardent lover of football and a proud supporter of Remo United, based in Ikenne, Ogun State.

His passion for the beautiful game was another expression of the interests that made him who he was.

These different aspects of his life tell the story of a man who belonged to more than one community.

His passing, therefore, leaves a void that will be felt not only within Capitol Aviary but also among those who knew him through his business, his love for football, and his personal relationships.

Death has a cruel way of reminding us that the people we see today may not always be beside us tomorrow.

It leaves behind unanswered questions, unfinished conversations, memories that suddenly become priceless, and an emptiness that no amount of explanation can fill.

For the brothers of Capitol Aviary, this loss is deeply personal. The thought that a fellow Avian who once shared in the fraternity’s activities and responsibilities is no longer physically present is a painful reality to confront.

We are left with memories to hold on to, moments to reflect upon, and a brother to remember with affection and sorrow.

Though we may struggle to understand why such a loss has occurred, we find some comfort in the knowledge that the impact of a life is not measured solely by the number of years lived, but also by the relationships built, the responsibilities fulfilled, and the memories left behind.

Avian Kayode Owosho may have departed from our midst, but the brotherhood he shared with us remains part of our collective history.

His name will continue to evoke memories of his service as Chief Entertainment Officer and his place among the members of Capitol Aviary.

OUR HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES

On this painful occasion, the Aviary Club of Nigeria at large extend their deepest condolences to the immediate and extended families of Avian Kayode Owosho and Capitol Aviary.

We recognise that no words can adequately comfort a family confronted with such an irreplaceable loss.

No tribute can fully express the pain of saying goodbye to someone whose presence formed part of everyday life.

Nevertheless, we stand in solidarity with his family, sharing in their grief and pray that they find the strength to endure this difficult season.

Your earthly journey has ended, but your memory lives on in the hearts of your brothers, your family, your friends, and all those whose lives intersected with yours.

May the Almighty God receive your soul in His infinite mercy, grant you eternal rest, and comfort all those you have left behind.

Rest on, Avian Kayode Owosho.

Rest on, our beloved brother.

Until we meet again in the bosom of our Lord, may your soul find eternal peace.

Farewell, Kayode. You have departed from our sight, but never from our hearts.
