Avian Elder Oyesiku stands as a shining example of scholarship and service, His journey in the Aviary began during the 1980/81 academic session at the then Lagos State College of Education (LACOED, now LASUED – Know to Avians as Mahogany), where he was inducted. With dedication and distinction, he rose to serve, laying foundations of loyalty and discipline that continue to inspire generations of Avians.
A man deeply rooted in intellectual pursuit, Elder Oyesiku graduated from LACOED in 1984 and went on to broaden his academic horizon at some of Nigeria’s most prestigious institutions, including Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), the University of Lagos (UNILAG), and Lagos State University (LASU). Today, he is a respected Lecturer at the College of Humanities, Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), where he moulds young minds with knowledge, wisdom, and discipline.

Elder Oyesiku has been unwavering in his service, remaining a proud member of Oloki Aviary under Akete Province Council. His contributions embody the principles of brotherhood, intellectual depth, and commitment to the greater good. Beyond the Aviary, Elder Oyesiku is equally distinguished. He is a respected family man, happily married, where his values of integrity, service, and wisdom also shine brightly. His life reflects a balance between tradition and modernity, scholarship, duty and family.
Today, as he ascends into the Elders Council of the Aviary Club of Nigeria, we celebrate not only his elevation but also his decades of loyalty, resilience, and commitment to the noble flight of brotherhood.
On behalf of Oloki Aviary and the entire Akete Province Council, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Elder Avian Funmi Oyesiku on this historic milestone. May his wisdom, leadership, and service continue to guide the Aviary Club of Nigeria and beyond.
