Edo Aviary Hosts Wives’ Appreciation Dinner, Celebrates Brotherhood and Family Values

January 4, 2026, will long be remembered as a remarkable day in the history of the Edo Aviary of the Aviary Club of Nigeria (ACN), as Avians from across Edo South, Edo State, gathered in an atmosphere of unity, love, and appreciation to host their wives at a special dinner party dedicated to celebrating tolerance, endurance, and unwavering support.
The event commenced on a solemn note with a minute of silence observed in honour of the late Ex-Chapter Vice President of Edo Aviary, Avian Hon. Evans Agbonwanagbe. This tribute was led by Avian Elder Bar. Hope Iyare, a respected member of the ACN Elders’ Council, reflecting the deep sense of respect and brotherhood that binds members of the club.
Following the tribute, the evening transitioned into a colourful and joyful celebration. Guests were treated to an abundance of food and drinks, ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of everyone present. The night was further enlivened by captivating musical performances from renowned artistes including Maleke and De Senator, whose thrilling performances added glamour and lasting memories to the occasion.
The annual Wives’ Appreciation Dinner served as a platform for Avians to reconnect, strengthen bonds, and reaffirm the values of brotherhood and togetherness that the Aviary Club of Nigeria stands for. Central to the celebration was a heartfelt recognition of the wives, praised for their patience, tolerance, and endurance, especially for the understanding they show during the many hours their husbands devote to club activities. The gathering emphasized that their presence, support, and sacrifices remain a vital pillar in sustaining the unity and strength of the brotherhood.
