Today, the Aviary Club of Nigeria proudly celebrates a distinguished scholar, visionary leader, accomplished researcher, devoted family man, and committed Avian, Avian Dr. Olumide Fafore, as he adds another glorious year to a life marked by excellence, service, and remarkable achievements.
This special occasion provides an opportunity for members of the Aviary family across the globe to honor and appreciate an individual whose dedication to leadership, education, community development, and organizational growth continues to inspire countless people within and beyond the Club.
Dr. Olumide Fafore's academic journey is a shining example of determination, intellectual excellence, and a relentless pursuit of knowledge. He began his educational pursuit at the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State, where he obtained an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Accounting. Driven by a passion for governance, public affairs, and societal development, he proceeded to the University of Jos, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Political Science.
His quest for academic distinction continued at the University of Port Harcourt, where he obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in International Relations. In pursuit of advanced scholarship and research, he further earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Politics and International Studies from the renowned University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa, establishing himself as an authority in political studies, peacebuilding, and international affairs.
Professionally, Dr. Fafore has distinguished himself as a respected Researcher in Peace and Security and a renowned Political Analyst specializing in African Politics. Through numerous scholarly publications, research contributions, policy engagements, and intellectual discourse, he has made significant contributions to the understanding of governance, security, conflict resolution, and international relations across the African continent.
Beyond his academic and professional accomplishments, Dr. Fafore is a devoted husband and loving father. He is happily married to Dr. Mrs. Elizabeth Ojo Fafore, and together they are blessed with three wonderful sons. His commitment to family values, integrity, responsibility, and compassion reflects the admirable character for which he is widely respected.
As a proud member of Madiba Aviary, one of the most vibrant chapters of the Aviary Club of Nigeria within the Southern African Region, Dr. Fafore has devoted many years to the growth and advancement of the organization. His unwavering commitment to service, organizational development, and leadership excellence has seen him serve meritoriously in several strategic positions, including:
• Former Secretary General, Madiba Aviary
• Former Vice President, Madiba Aviary
• Former Chief Operations Officer, Odua Region
• Former Vice President, Southern African Region (SADC)
• Current President, Southern African Region
Throughout his leadership journey, Dr. Fafore has demonstrated vision, integrity, discipline, and an exceptional commitment to the ideals and objectives of the Aviary Club of Nigeria. His ability to inspire others, foster unity, and drive progressive initiatives has contributed significantly to the growth and success of the Southern African Region.
As the current President of the Southern African Region, he continues to provide purposeful leadership, strategic direction, and unwavering dedication to the Aviary family. His service remains a source of inspiration to members across regions and generations.
Beyond his accomplishments, Dr. Fafore is widely admired for his humility, kindness, easy-going nature, and deep fear of God. His willingness to support others, mentor younger members, and promote brotherhood has earned him the respect and admiration of Avians both at home and abroad.
On this special occasion, the Aviary Club of Nigeria celebrates his achievements, honors his contributions, and appreciates his years of dedicated service to the organization.
