It is a day set aside to honor the sacrifices of patriotic Nigerians who fought tirelessly for democratic governance, justice, equity, and the fundamental rights of citizens. It is also a day to reflect on our collective journey as a nation and to renew our commitment to the ideals that strengthen our democracy.
Democracy remains one of the most cherished pillars of national development.
