Key actions to take:

    2. Avoid risky zones – steer clear of areas with protests, violence, or unrest.

    3. Limit exposure – reduce unnecessary movement and interactions with strangers.

    4. Keep a low profile – avoid ostentation and inflammatory statements on social media.

    5. Obey local laws – respect South African customs and legal regulations.

    6. Report threats – immediately inform local police or security agencies of any danger to life.

    7. Seek guidance – contact the Nigerian High Commission (Pretoria) or Consulate (Johannesburg) for safety advice.

All Nigerian citizens in South Africa should treat this ADVISORY with utmost seriousness, prioritize personal security, and cooperate with local authorities to ensure safe living and working conditions.
