AVIARY CLUB OF NIGERIA STANDS IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE KIDNAPPED SCHOOL CHILDREN IN OYO AND BORNO STATES
The Aviary Club of Nigeria (ACN) expresses its deep concern and heartfelt solidarity with the school children, their families, teachers, and communities affected by the unfortunate incidents of kidnapping in Oyo and Borno States.
The abduction of innocent children remains one of the most painful challenges confronting our nation. Every child deserves the right to learn, grow, and dream in a safe and secure environment free from fear, violence, and intimidation. The safety and wellbeing of our children must always remain a collective responsibility and a national priority.
As an organization committed to humanitarian service, youth development, education, and community advancement, the Aviary Club of Nigeria strongly condemns all acts that threaten the future and security of Nigerian children. We stand with the affected families during this difficult period and share in their anxiety while hoping for the safe and immediate return of every child still in captivity.
We commend the efforts of security agencies, government authorities, community leaders, and concerned citizens working tirelessly toward the rescue of the victims. We urge all stakeholders to intensify their efforts and strengthen measures that will prevent future occurrences, particularly within educational institutions and vulnerable communities.
To the affected children and their families, please know that you are not alone. The thoughts, prayers, and support of millions of Nigerians are with you. We remain hopeful that every child will be reunited with their loved ones safely and unharmed.
The Aviary Club of Nigeria also calls on governments at all levels, civil society organizations, and well meaning Nigerians to continue advocating for improved security, quality education, and child protection policies that safeguard the future of our nation.
Together, we must build a Nigeria where every child can pursue education without fear and where schools remain sanctuaries of learning, hope, and opportunity.
