Building a Legacy Together: Celebrating the ACN Permanent Site Fundraising Committee.

Every great institution is defined not only by what it achieves today, but also by the legacy it deliberately builds for tomorrow. For the Aviary Club of Nigeria (ACN), establishing a permanent site is a vision of permanence, identity, unity and continuity, a place that can stand as a lasting symbol of the Club's values, brotherhood, achievements and aspirations.

It is therefore with profound appreciation that the Aviary Club of Nigeria recognizes and celebrates the members of the ACN Permanent Site Fundraising Committee for accepting the responsibility of helping to turn this important vision into reality. The journey towards achieving the Permanent Site goal requires commitment, patience, coordination, sacrifice and the ability to continually inspire others to believe in a shared dream. The Committee has demonstrated these qualities in its efforts to mobilize support and keep the Permanent Site vision firmly in the consciousness of the members of the Club.

At the forefront of this important assignment is Avian Segun Oluata, Chairman, whose leadership provides direction and coordination to the Committee's efforts. Leading a fundraising initiative of this importance requires persistence and a strong belief in the objective, and his service represents an important contribution to the Club's collective aspiration. Working alongside him are Avian Ayo Anifowoshe (Europa Province), Avian Nosakhare Igie (North America Province), Avian Olawale Ayeni (Akete Province), and Avian Lucky Oamen (Europa Province), whose commitment and participation have contributed to sustaining the Committee's work.

Together, these four Avians have accepted a responsibility that extends beyond individual interests. They are contributing their time, energy and experience towards an objective that belongs to the entire Club. Their willingness to serve reminds us that meaningful institutional progress is often achieved when individuals step forward, accept responsibility and work together for the common good.

The Permanent Site dream has not yet reached its final destination, but the Club is steadily moving closer. Every effort made, every contribution received, every Avians' commitment demonstrated and every conversation that keeps the vision alive represents another step forward. The progress recorded so far is a reminder that when members unite around a common purpose, seemingly distant objectives can gradually become achievable realities.

The Permanent Site, therefore, should not be viewed simply as a fundraising project. It is a collective legacy project. Its success will depend not only on the efforts of the Committee but also on the willingness of Avians across the Club to continue supporting the vision. There is a role for everyone. Some may contribute financially; others may provide ideas, connections, encouragement, advocacy or other forms of support. What matters is that we continue to move in the same direction.

Future generations of Avians will benefit from the decisions and sacrifices being made today. They may walk through the doors of the Permanent Site without fully knowing the individuals who helped make it possible. Yet their presence there will be a testament to those who believed in the vision and chose to act.

That is the true meaning of legacy.

The Aviary Club of Nigeria therefore encourages all members to continue supporting the Permanent Site Fundraising Committee and to remain committed to this shared aspiration. The responsibility may have been entrusted to a committee, but the vision belongs to all of us.

To Avian Segun Oluata, Avian Ayo Anifowoshe, Avian Nosakhare Igie, Avian Olawale Ayeni, and Avian Lucky Oamen, the Aviary Club of Nigeria says, Thank you!.

Thank you for accepting the responsibility. Thank you for your commitment and persistence. Thank you for keeping the vision alive and for working towards bringing Avians together around an objective that will outlive us all. Your work is appreciated, your service is recognized, and your commitment is valued.

May the spirit of brotherhood, unity and collective service continue to guide this effort. With continued commitment from Avians across Nigeria, the Permanent Site dream can move from aspiration to achievement.

Together, we can build it.

Together, we can own it.

Together, we can leave it as a lasting legacy for generations of Avians to come.

Long live the Aviary Club of Nigeria.
