Emede Kingdom Confers Prestigious Chieftaincy Titles on Distinguished Isoko Leaders

In a moment of pride and cultural significance for the Emede Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Bar. Johnson Egbo Esq. (Ewhiri II), the revered Ovie of Emede Kingdom, graciously conferred chieftaincy titles on three outstanding sons and daughters of Emede/Isoko land in recognition of their exceptional service, leadership, and contributions to the growth of the kingdom and the Isoko Nation at large.

The honored chiefs are Chief Dr. Sylvester Onoyona, Ph.D (The Aghale of Emede Kingdom), Chief Dr. Mrs. Philomena Onoyona, Ph.D (The Esi of Emede Kingdom), and Chief Edwin Azubuike Onoyona (The Okpohor of Emede Kingdom). These titles reflect their unwavering commitment to community development, excellence in their respective fields, and sustained benevolence toward the people of Emede.
The grand and culturally rich ceremony took place at the Ovie Palace in Emede, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, during a special family visit to congratulate His Royal Majesty on his successful call to the Nigerian Bar following his studies at the Nigerian Law School, as well as to share in the joy of the Christmas celebration.

During the ceremony, His Royal Majesty, Ewhiri II, praised the newly installed chiefs as exemplary ambassadors of Emede Kingdom whose achievements, integrity, and generosity continue to elevate the image and influence of the kingdom both within and beyond Isoko land. He emphasized that the honors were bestowed not only in recognition of past accomplishments but also in anticipation of greater service to the people.

Henceforth, Chief Dr. Sylvester Onoyona shall be formally addressed as Chief Dr. Sylvester Onoyona, Ph.D (The Aghale of Emede Kingdom), in accordance with tradition and royal proclamation.

The Emede Kingdom extends heartfelt congratulations to Chief Dr. Sylvester Onoyona, Ph.D, Chief Dr. Mrs. Philomena Onoyona, Ph.D, and Chief Edwin Azubuike Onoyona, and prays that these noble titles will serve as catalysts for enduring peace, unity, growth, and prosperity within the Emede Kingdom and the Isoko Nation as a whole.
