In a powerful demonstration of compassion and community responsibility, Peach Aviary, a proud arm of the Aviary Club of Nigeria in North America, partnered with Fireside Jamaican Restaurant to distribute 100 hot meals to individuals experiencing homelessness on Thanksgiving Day.
The outreach initiative was spearheaded by the Peach Aviary Chapter President, Mr. Orok Edem, with the strong support of his executive team and dedicated members. The event was further honoured by the presence and support of the North America Regional President, Dr. Sylvester Onoyona, whose involvement reaffirmed the organisation’s unwavering commitment to humanitarian service.

Despite the extremely cold weather conditions, the team remained resolute, ensuring that every prepared meal reached a person in need. The warm, nutritious Jamaican-style Thanksgiving meals provided not only physical nourishment but also emotional comfort and renewed hope to underserved members of the community.
This impactful initiative reflects Peach Aviary’s core mission of uplifting society through service, generosity, and unity. It highlights the power of collaboration between community-focused organisations and local businesses in addressing immediate social needs and promoting dignity among vulnerable populations.

Peach Aviary expresses profound gratitude to Fireside Jamaican Restaurant, all volunteers, supporters, and members whose selfless contributions made this outreach a resounding success. The event stands as a shining example of what can be achieved when compassion meets collective action.
As Peach Aviary continues to champion humanitarian causes, this Thanksgiving outreach remains a reminder that true gratitude is best expressed through service to humanity.
