Spotlight on Global Cultural Leadership and Economic Innovation

Avian Siyanbola Biodun Naheem Shines at the 5th FAED International Colloquium

In a distinguished showcase of cross-cultural diplomacy and intellectual brilliance, our esteemed Avian Siyanbola Biodun Naheem served as Co–Master of Ceremonies and French interpreter at the 5th Edition of the Festival of Art for Economic Development (FAED) International Colloquium, a prominent bilateral cultural and economic event that took place in Idiroko, Ogun State, Nigeria, on February 12, 2026.

The FAED Festival, which began on January 28 and runs through February 15, 2026, is a visionary initiative aimed at leveraging arts and culture as a driver of economic empowerment, cross-border cooperation, and sustainable development. Anchored on the theme “Rebranding Borderline Communities through Creative Empowerment and Entrepreneurship”, FAED has emerged as a strategic platform to rethink conventional narratives around border zones, reframing them not as areas of challenge but as engines of economic growth, creativity, and community resilience.

As co-compere of the international colloquium, Avian Siyanbola masterfully guided proceedings alongside the Customs Public Relations Officer and facilitated seamless dialogue in both English and French for the Commissioner of Police from the Republic of Benin. His impeccable language skills and stage presence ensured clarity of communication between diverse delegates, further elevating the event’s international stature.

The Colloquium attracted an array of policymakers, economic leaders, cultural advocates, entrepreneurs, and academics, all united around the vision of integrating artistic expression with economic advancement. Discussions emphasized the value of cultural industries, creative entrepreneurship, and collaborative border initiatives as tools for economic integration, socio-cultural harmony, and sustainable development.

Speakers at the festival underscored how art and culture are not merely forms of entertainment but powerful economic assets that promote tourism, creating market opportunities for creative talents, and stimulate community growth. This aligns with broader global recognition of the arts as a significant contributor to economic activity and societal well-being.

Avian Siyanbola’s role at FAED reinforces the Aviary Club’s commitment to excellence, global engagement, and cultural diplomacy. His performance as a cultural ambassador reflects the core values of leadership and international cooperation that our community champions.

Eagles Eye Magazine proudly acknowledges this outstanding achievement and congratulates Avian Siyanbola Biodun Naheem for his impactful contribution, raising the profile of Nigerian talent on the world stage and demonstrating the transformative potential of cultural exchange.
