The image of an organization is shaped not only by its values but by how those values are seen, recorded, and remembered. As the Aviary Club of Nigeria continues to grow in visibility and influence, the need for clear, professional, and value-driven media representation across all levels of the club has become more important than ever. To this end, the ACN Media Department emphasizes the adoption of standardized media documentation practices that reflect the dignity, discipline, and moral standing of the Aviary.
All Grande and Provincial Councils should be mandated to utilize standard, functional, and high-quality cameras and video equipment when documenting ACN events. Clear and professional photographs and videos are essential for official records, publicity, and historical archives. Proper equipment ensures that every captured moment accurately reflects the stature and seriousness of the organization.
All recorded materials must project ACN as a disciplined, respectable, and morally upright organization. Images and videos should be properly framed, well-lit, and edited where necessary to meet acceptable organizational and media standards. Every visual output should reinforce the identity of ACN as a structured and principled body.
All aviaries must ensure that banned substances, including but not limited to weed, drugs, or any illegal or illicit materials, do not appear in photographs or videos taken during ACN events. The presence of such elements, even unintentionally, severely undermines the reputation and moral standing of the organization and is wholly inconsistent with ACN values.
Only morally acceptable conduct and responsible behavior should be captured and featured in any official or edited media content. Any content that portrays indecency, misconduct, or actions inconsistent with the core values of ACN must be excluded entirely. Media representation should always reflect integrity, discipline, and respect.
The significance of standardizing media documentation practices cannot be overstated. It directly impacts:
The public image and reputation of the Aviary Club of Nigeria
The confidence of partners, stakeholders, and prospective members
The accuracy and integrity of historical records and media archives
The promotion of discipline, professionalism, and ethical conduct across all councils
Uniform media standards will enhance ACN’s visibility and credibility while fostering accountability and pride in how the organization is represented at every level.
The ACN Media Department sincerely believes that the approval and enforcement of these standards by the Supreme Council will greatly strengthen the image and future of the Aviary Club of Nigeria. We appreciate the continued leadership and commitment of the Supreme Council in upholding the values and standards of ACN and respectfully submit this directive for adoption.
