It is with a heavy heart and total submission to the will of Almighty God that we receive the painful news of the passing of our beloved brother, Avian Orok Edem , fondly known as Coco . In his lifetime, Avian Orok was an instrument of growth, an ambassador of peace, and a firm believer in harmony among people. Wherever he found himself, he contributed meaningfully and selflessly, always striving to make a positive impact. His dedication, humility, and willingness to serve distinguished him among his peers and earned him the admiration of many. These admirable qualities led him to occupy several leadership positions within our organization. He rose through the ranks and ultimately served as the President of Peach Aviary, Georgia, a Chapter of the Aviary Club of Nigeria, North America Region . In this role, he demonstrated exceptional leadership, guiding members with wisdom, unity, and a deep sense of responsibility. Avian Orok was not only a leader but also a brother and friend to many. He was warm, engaging, and always a delight to be around. His character embodied the true meaning of a person of honor, integrity, and respect. Through his actions and words, he inspired others and strengthened the bonds of fellowship within the club. Today, the Aviary Club of Nigeria has lost a great pillar. Members across the globe mourn the passing of a remarkable man whose legacy of service, unity, and brotherhood will not be forgotten.     It is with a heavy heart and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of a beloved brother, a committed leader, and the President of Peach Aviary. His departure has left a deep void not only within Peach Aviary but across the entire Aviary brotherhood. He was more than a leader; he was a symbol of unity, dedication, and true brotherhood. Through his service, he inspired many, strengthened bonds among members, and carried the ideals of the Aviary with pride and honor. His voice, his presence, and his passion for the growth of the Aviary community will never be forgotten. At moments like this, words often fall short. We mourn not only the loss of a great Aviary man but also the loss of a friend, a mentor, and a brother whose contributions will continue to echo within our organization.     Global Present with Avian Class of 1986/87(CIRCUS) The Year of Expansion Tour of the Aviary Club of Nigeria continued with a remarkable stakeholders’ dinner in Benin City, bringing together distinguished Avians, elders, and leaders from across the South South Region. The evening gathering reflected the spirit of unity, purpose, and commitment that defines the noble ideals of the organization. As the sun set, Avians began arriving at the elegant dinner venue, creating an atmosphere filled with class, Nobility, and brotherhood. Within a short time, the hall was fully occupied as guests took their seats promptly, demonstrating the importance attached to the meeting and the seriousness of the agenda. Former Global President, Avian Chief Olukoga, Avian Baba Oz Kaza, Avian Bulldog The high point of the evening was the grand entrance of the Global President of the Aviary Club of Nigeria, Avian Odia Eromonsele, accompanied by the Global Vice President, Avian Segun Amosun. Their arrival signaled the official commencement of the stakeholders’ meeting and was warmly received by the distinguished gathering. Global President and Global Vice President In his opening remarks, the Global President expressed profound appreciation to the elders and stakeholders present for honoring the invitation and demonstrating believe in the progress of the organization. He emphasized the importance of unity and collective responsibility in advancing the vision of the Aviary Club of Nigeria. Avian Eromonsele then outlined the primary purpose of the Expansion Tour visit to the region, mobilizing support for the Permanent Secretariat Building Project of the Aviary Club of Nigeria. He appealed to members and stakeholders for donations, support, and strategic partnerships that would ensure the successful realization of the project. South South Regional President, Global president and Former Global president Following his address, the Global President invited the Global Vice President, Avian Segun Amosun, to provide a detailed explanation of the proposed building project. Avian Amosun gave a vivid and comprehensive presentation, clearly outlining the scope, vision, and long-term benefits of establishing a permanent secretariat for the organization. His presentation was well received and widely appreciated for its clarity and depth. Global president with Avian Class of 1988/90(STRATUS) Adding his voice to the evening’s discussions, Avian Hon. Steven Idehen delivered a warm message of welcome to the Global President and his delegation. He commended the leadership for initiating the building project and encouraged all Avians present to contribute in whatever capacity they could. According to him, the project was long overdue for an organization of such global stature and significance.     It was an atmosphere filled with joy, excitement, and jubilation as the Global President of the Aviary Club of Nigeria, Sir Odia Eromosele, arrived for an official visit to the Arewa Province of the club. The visit marked a significant moment in the history of the province as members gathered in large numbers to warmly welcome their global leader in a colorful and dignified reception organized by the Arewa Regional President and his executive council. The historic visit, which began on Monday, March 9, 2026, demonstrated the unity, strength, and vibrant spirit that continues to define the Aviary fraternity across Nigeria and beyond. From the moment the Global President arrived, the excitement among members was evident, as aviary leaders and members from different chapters came together to receive him with pride and enthusiasm. The arrival ceremony at the airport at 10:00 a.m. set the tone for what many members described as a memorable and inspiring visit. The reception showcased the deep respect and admiration that members of the Arewa Province have for the leadership of the club. Shortly after the reception, a well-coordinated motorcade and security escort conveyed the Global President to his hotel, where he checked in at 12:30 p.m. The day’s activities concluded with an elegant Welcome Cocktail Night held at 7:00 p.m., where members and invited guests gathered for an evening of fellowship and celebration. The event provided an opportunity for leaders and members to interact with the Global President in a relaxed atmosphere while reaffirming their commitment to the ideals of the club, brotherhood, unity, service, and leadership. The second day of the visit, Tuesday, March 10, began with a strategic meeting between the Global President and the Arewa Provincial Council at 1:00 p.m. During the meeting, discussions centered on strengthening the operations of the province, expanding the club’s impact, and reinforcing the collective vision of the organization. The meeting also served as a platform for the provincial leadership to present updates on ongoing activities and initiatives within the region. One of the most impactful moments of the visit occurred later in the day when the Global President led members on a humanitarian outreach to an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camp in Durumi.
