Proceedings opened with an inspiring prayer led by Avian Prince, setting a reverent and purposeful tone for the celebration. The Chapter President, Mr. Orok Edem, delivered the welcome and opening address, warmly thanking all attendees for their presence and support. In his remarks, he reflected on the journey of Peach Aviary over the last ten years, from its humble beginnings to becoming a respected organization grounded in brotherhood, community service, and leadership. Drawing from the organization’s history, he highlighted the sacrifices of founding members, the vision of past leaders, and the unwavering commitment that has sustained the Aviary through the years. He also emphasized the responsibility of members to uphold the organization’s image and legacy while building a stronger future. Adding to the significance of the occasion was the presence of Pioneer Chapter President, Mr. Phillip Orbih, and Pioneer Chapter Vice President, Mr. Bishop Laya, whose attendance symbolized continuity and the enduring spirit of the organization they helped establish. The highlight of the evening was the keynote address delivered by Dr. Vincent Terry, Founder and CEO of United Healthcare Systems of Georgia, Inc. His thought-provoking speech encouraged the organization to celebrate its achievements while intentionally shaping a lasting legacy. Dr. Terry challenged members to think beyond the present and envision what Peach Aviary could become in the next 5, 10, and 20 years, emphasizing structure, credibility, and sustainability as key pillars for long-term success. Also in attendance was Ms. Tiffany Oakley, a consultant and organizational strategist who has worked closely with Peach Aviary. She was recognized for her instrumental role in helping the organization secure strategic partnerships with Carenow Community Development Center and World Covenant Christian Center, further strengthening Peach Aviary’s community footprint. One of the most touching moments of the evening came when Mr. Phillip Orbih addressed the audience. Former and current members were likewise honored with awards acknowledging their dedication, service, and continued support of the organization. A deeply emotional segment of the program was the presentation of a posthumous award to the family representative of former Vice President, Mr. Ademola Adepoju. In addition to the honor, a $500 check was presented to the family, underscoring Peach Aviary’s enduring commitment to honoring its own and preserving the legacy of those who served with distinction. Special Recognition Awards were also presented to non-members who have consistently supported Peach Aviary’s mission and activities over the years. Honorees included Dr. Philomena Onoyona, Ms. Erica Golden, Mr. Orok Edem Jr., and Mr. Keppy Edem, whose involvement in food drives, clothing drives, and various community outreach efforts has significantly contributed to the organization’s success. The atmosphere throughout the evening was joyful and reflective, as members reminisced about shared experiences from the past decade while enjoying a video slideshow showcasing Peach Aviary’s activities and community impact over the years. Light refreshments were served as fellowship and laughter filled the room. The event concluded with a heartfelt thank you and closing address from the Chapter President, expressing appreciation to members, guests, partners, and supporters for walking alongside Peach Aviary throughout its ten year journey.
